The goal of the Paul Robeson Room (also known as the 'African and African American Studies Research and Resource Center') is to facilitate new ways for George Mason University students to learn about the African diaspora. Students often have to address issues related to African and African American Studies as part of their academic and community involvements. Opportunities for hands-on experience with the African Diaspora is key to the appeal of the Robeson Room. The center has been instrumental in assisting students, faculty, staff, and the community in finding resources and information.
