A Discussion on Race, Sex, and AIDS
Thursday, December 2, 2010 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM EST
Hampton Roads Multi-purpose Room
Pillow Talk
To signify the importance of World AIDS Day 2010, this event is intended to be a candid discussion on how race and sex are two overlooked aspects of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. We're going to change that! Show up at the Hampton Roads building with your favorite pillow, get comfortable, and let's talk about it.
This event is part of HIV Awareness Week at Mason, and the featured speaker will be regional HIV/AIDS activist, Justin B. Smith. There will be free HIV testing by Alcohol, Drugs, & Health Education, and of course, free food. So, get together, get tested, get educated, and get your grub on!
Date: Thursday December 2nd
Time: 6:00PM until 8:00PM
Location: Hampton Roads, Multi-purpose Room, First Floor
Hosted by African and African American Studies and Alcohol, Drugs, & Health Education.
Sponsored by African and African American Studies, Alcohol, Drugs, & Health Education, Kaiser Permenante, and University Life.
