Allen Johnson has been a dynamic and proven expert in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia Real Estate community for more than 20 years.  He leads a top producing real estate team, the AJ Team powered by Keller Williams Realty, and has crossed the elite threshold of more than 1,100 homes sold in his career. Johnson is ranked as a Top 20 agent in the region for total sales volume (#12 by Nova Real Producers) and has been rated as the #1 Team in Prince William County since 2016. Most recently, Johnson and the AJ Team were recognized by Real Trends/America’s Best Realtors as a Top 1.5% realtor of more than 1.6M realtors nationwide!  

Johnson is an avid real estate investor and has acquired more than 50 units as either rental investments or flip opportunities in just a few short years. Johnson and agent partners on his team were featured on HGTV's House Hunters in May 2017, August 2021, and again in March 2022. Johnson has a true spirit of generosity and sharing as he prides himself on educating his peers, clients, and the greater community through innovative techniques—live video, social media, and educational seminars focused on wealth building through real estate. Johnson is also a community leader who volunteers with local schools through mentoring and fundraising. In 2018, Johnson had the honor of accepting the Greater Prince William County Healthy Communities Healthy Youth Council Local Hero Award. At the end of 2017, he officially launched his first non-profit, the Be a Blessing Foundation, to service families in need in Prince William County, Virgnia. Johnson received his bachelor’s in English literature from George Mason University where he also served on the board of directors for the university’s Alumni Association. In 2013, he was awarded the Distinguished Black Alumni of the Year award by Mason in recognition of professional accomplishments, commitment to community, and significant contributions to the university.   

Johnson put his degree to great use when he published his first book, “50 Things Your Real Estate Agent Should Tell You But Probably Won’t” in 2019. He is currently working on his next bestseller. Johnson is inspired daily by his family—his lovely wife and business partner, Christal, and their two spirited daughters, Sydney & Camila. Johnson is passionate about his business and continues to spread his mantra of “being a blessing.”
