Erica D. Callicutt, M.Div., 2011

Erica is from Newport News, Virginia and a 2011 graduate of George Mason University. She received her Bachelor of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences degree in Journalism and minor in African and African American Studies. While at Mason Erica worked as the office assistant for the Paul Robeson Room in the African & African American Studies program under Dr. Wendi Manuel-Scott. She also served as a peer advisor with the Transition Resource Center. Erica was also involved with the Black Student Alliance Organization, Impact Christian Organization and a member of the National Communication Honor Society, Lambda Pi Eta.
In the fall of 2011, Erica Callicutt began her graduate studies at Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology on the Campus of Virginia Union University in Richmond, Va. In 2014 she finished with her Master of Divinity Degree, concentrating in Pastoral Care and Counseling.
Ms. Callicutt is a licensed and ordained minister, currently working as Staff Chaplain with Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA and also serves as the Student Pastor at Ivy Baptist Church in Newport News.
Erica is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, serving in the Newport News Alumni Chapter.
